So my best friend Sharon was talking about getting an exercise mat for working out at home. When I got into the exercise thing last year (after having not set foot in a gym since high school - that's 19 years, right Cindy!?), and I was trying to do stuff like crunches at home on our burber carpet in the bedroom, I realized it just wasn't good on the back. I tried folding up a blanket and working out on that, but it still wasn't great. Once my personal trainer had me working out on the mats at the Rec Center, I realized I need something like their spongey/foamy mats for home use.
After a lot of online research (ok, limited to the feedback at Amazon.com) I came across the Harbinger 340330 Durafoam Exercise Mat. It made me a bit nervous ordering something I couldn't touch and feel first, but it turns out it was a great purchase! GREAT padding, rolls up nice and tight with the built in straps to tuck out of the way, very low profile when rolled up, and long enough to really stretch out on - I highly recommend it.
Oh, and the cats think it feels wierd to walk across. It's entertaining to see them walk onto it and realize "ooh, this isn't quite right". And seeing their little paw print indentations for the split second after they lift their paw is amusing...
Now let's see if this direct link to the product at Amazon works...

I love how Jeph just wants to make me spend money. But, I love the recommendation and will probably buy. Will use the link this week - you rock!
Love,
Sharon
And it'll help you get AMAZING abs! ;-)
