The next quarter for my Amazon Associates profits ends this Friday - woo hoo! I can pretty much tell that all the money I've gotten back is from my own purchases - but hey, there's nothing wrong with that, right? ;-) Smart shopping on my part - find the item I want, build the link on a page, click the link, buy the item. An extra minute or two of work, and I get my own kickback! So I've got a little over $22 coming back this quarter - what should I buy?
And I think it's funny how you can see I'm influenced by what's going on in my world these days - we're big into making the pizzas on the pizza stone, and we're talking about getting a hobby farm.... Angel's still on there from waaaay back when - we're way behind on watching those. The slow cooker book? Eh, I figure sooner or later I'll find a book for this that'll make me loooove everything that comes out of the crock pot! So far it's been about 50/50.
BTW - I LOVE shopping, and I love doing it remotely and not having to deal with some of the people in stores. I just don't love spending/not having money, so the wish list can truly be a fantasy list sometimes - things can remain on there a LOOOONG time before I EVER get 'em!
[Side note: I've never used the Blogger button on my Google toolbar before, so this is my first time. Hm. Limited options - can't upload images this way. Seems I'm already logged in though, so that's cool. Can always save this as a draft, then edit it, THEN add pics if I really wanted to. Not necessary this time...]

There's a Firefox extension for Blogger that lets you compose in Word and then send it to Blogger. I don't use it myself since my XP came with works, but it's nice to know you can do it.
Oh cool, thanks for the tip! I know there's a ton of plug ins out there for this sort of stuff, I just hadn't taken the time to try any how. I only did the Google toolbar one because it's sitting there right above my PHP code (damn code!), calling out to me!
And I've been TEMPTED to try WordPress, figuring it'd be less likely to have the problems Blogger sometimes has...but I don't really want to shift to another service... I'm lazy! :)
Oh, and that last entry was only posted EIGHT MINUTES ago Steven! Don't you have some video games to play or weeds to pull!?!? LOL (Look who's talking - Jeph - don't you have some code to wrestle with?!)
I'm putting off mowing because it looks like rain and I stayed up until about 3 AM playing GTA San Andreas
Are there any games you play on the computer!? If you do World of Warcraft, City of Heroes or Battle for Middle Earth II let me know! (Not that I've played the first two in a loooong time!)
I have a bunch I used to play, but I've avoided MMORPGs since I tend to get really involved in my games and I could see spending hours a day on WOW or Evercrack.
My laptop is specially configured for games.. lots of RAM and a decent graphics card and I play Doom3 a lot when I travel.
I also like to take Sid Meier's Pirates! on trips because it's mindless fun and little to no gore/splatter to upset seat mates on planes.
I haven't heard of Pirates - will have to check that out.
You're more like Brett - he doesn't get into the games where you share your time with others - he's more into doing it solo. I lose interest real quick in a game if I don't get to have some human competition or comaraderie.
I'm an only child.. that's my excuse for everything.
No no, it's those of us who HAVE siblings who get good excuses - because the other sibling always got something better than we did! Especially when you're the first, like me. That meant my younger brother always got to do things at an earlier age than me because I'd already proven to mom we weren't likely to get killed.
