Final Frost Date Countdown!

Not that I'm counting down or anything... ;-) This'll help me figure out when I need to start getting seeds started....ASSUMING I'll have somewhere to plant them! (Still doing the house hunting/negotiating thing)

Ah, what a great poodle rock band Europe was for about 5 minutes there....

What kind of seeds are you getting anxious to plant??? This wee has been in the mid seventies and I was TEMPTED to get my annuals, BUT glad I waited, a nasty wind and cooler air moved in with suspicions it may freeze tonight. Boy my oldest baseballgame at 8 pm is going to be pleasang..

Smallville gave me the feeling Lana will die one of these days.. Sooner rather than later..

Booo hiiiiss Peter! LOL

Alison - what WON'T I be planting? In previous years I've had over a dozen varieties of tomatoes (mostly heirloom), up to a dozen variety of peppers (although I don't have much luck with them) (except for jalapenos!), onions, carrots, different kinds of summer squash, pumpkins, corn (only did that once), cucumbers ("standard" and lemon), okra, swiss chard, snow peas, sugar snap peas, spinach, potatoes and more! Some things I've had great luck with one year, and lousey the next (spinach, carrots), and some I swore I'd never grow again, and yet have seeds here waiting to be planted (corn). Some grow so easily and yet I just don't use 'em as well as I should - I just enjoy growing them (swiss chard - although I do love it in soups!)

We're no where near your temps - so there will be no garden-starting yet!

We haven't watched this last week's Smallville yet. I'm wondering if they can't kill her because of comics continuity (like the same reason Clark can't reveal his secret to her), OR if it's ok to kill her ('cause hey, she was never engaged to Lex in the comics!). Hard to tell which way they're gonna go...
