We don't actually know when each of them were born, and they're not related, but they were both kittens when we got them (at different times), and when we back-tracked from their vet-estimated ages they seemed close enough to just share a day. Plus when they were younger they were a bit more inseparable.
Hm, maybe they need to split a can of kitty food this evening. And have Doogie taken out of the house for an extended period! ;-)

That is a very cute shot, Jeph. Our cats NEVER got along that well.
They were very happy when I got home. I left Doogie shut in the bedroom, opened up a can of fish and shrimp Fancy Feast, and the cats had a party. Well, ok, they had three bowls, which no one completely finished, and so Doogie got to swing by later and clean up the leftovers. Works out well!
