And feeling busy too!
I picked up a discounted ($5!) flat of marigolds this past weekend, and got those all tucked into the squash and cucumber beds with the hope they'll deter all the bad bugs. Found a bunch of older, fading large terracotta-colored plastic pots yesterday, and planted them with all the basil seedlings I started awhile back, plus some cilantro and dill. I should have plenty of herbs if I don't forget to water the pots! I've also potted up a couple tomatoes a coworker gave me. Each year I swear off doing so many potted things so that I don't have to deal with water them, and then I have all these extra plants needing to go somewhere, so what do I do? Pot 'em up! Argh!
