Done hitched!

As we were driving home from running errands yesterday, we had a tractor shoot out from someone's field, onto the road ahead of us, with cans clanking on the pavement behind it.

The sign on the back of the tractor read " Done Hitched ", and the beautiful bride looked both excited and nervous she'd fall off.

Just before the tractor turned back onto their driveway, she looked back with a big smile.

To congratulate her we returned her big grin, honked and stuck a big "thumbs up" out the window.

Oh no, ants!

There were ants (printed) all over our (fake) paper plates during our impromptu weinie roast last night!

Toaster? fridge? soap?

So I have this shirt I love, but don't normally wear out in public...

Marty and Linda (Brett's folks) accepted our impromptu invitation to come roast weinies over the firepit. After dinner we played cards and had brownies.

While we were playing cards I realized Linda was looking at my shirt funny, so I called her on it.

"Well, all night I couldn't figure out why the toaster was saying 'rub me on your butt,' but I just realized it's a fridge. But, wait, why would a fridge say that? "

We just looked at her dumbfounded, and I pointed out that it's a bar of soap. I even pointed to the word "SOAP", but she said she hadn't been able to read it.

Boy oh boy did we get some great laughs out of that, including Brett making sure his mom walked in on him in the kitchen rubbing his butt against the fridge. Oops! Busted! Sick fetish freak!

Weirdo!

Check out the weird pumpkin that volunteered in the garden this year! You can use Doogie's Frisbee to help gauge size. I planted other varieties and none made it. This volunteer might be a cross of varieties I've grown in previous years?

Roller skates

Man, I wish a pair of roller skates would find me just lying around, put themselves on me as I somersault, and then have me go from klutz to Olympic-level roller skater making me feel frisky about myself!  Cool things like this just NEVER happen to me!



Can I just say how much I love "Shine" by Lovefreekz?  Back when I was going to the gym and/or walking/jogging at the local parks, I would always make sure this song was a short ways into my music playlist. It's not a good starting song - it's too much, too soon.  And you don't want it too late in the playlist because you mind wuss out before you even get to the song.  No, this is one of those songs you want playing just after you've gotten warmed up, and think "eh, maybe I'll take it easy today."  Then this song comes up, amps up your adrenaline, and really gets you moving!

Turns out the girl in the video is Ali R from London...she looks like she'd be a blast to hang out with!  You can check out her site but heads up, there's a few shots with boobies!  You were warned!

Yum!

Just picked about 3/4lb of raspberries! These guys seem extra big and plump, probably because of all the rain we've had. That hasn't watered the flavor down too much - they're great!

While the yellow jackets that were on the berries and chewing them up weren't a problem (they don't seem to fly too well after eating all that fruit), the mosquitoes sure snacked on me! Itchy itchy!
