Pretty in pink?

I think I'm about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way through the two skeins used to make this scarf. For an adult scarf, I would have made it a little wider, which would have burned through the yarn faster, and would have planned for four skeins to a scarf. Since I plan to make three of these, I'd like to keep it a bit more affordable.

It's not turning out as pink as I'd hoped, but that's part of the fun and the risk of working with Noro yarns, especially when using to different colorways together. There's a little uncertainty with one colorway - alternate it with a second and it's hard to know how the colors will work out.

And just so we're all clear, no, the pink scarves aren't for me or Brett.

I have never knit with noro, as I have heard nasty things about it. but the colors certainly DO stand out!

What sort of "nasty things" have you heard? I'm guessing it's something about the pieces of grass you're likely to get in the yarn? That does seem to happen sometimes. There's the occasional "two different colors knotted together" rather than a gradual color change - but I wonder if that happens with most yarns?
