I get bored easily...
Started the garlic harvest today... From left to right: Susanville, Spanish Roja, Nordic Hammer, Amish Rocombole, Chesnok
What a great variety you have. I'm still using the same old kind I started out with and every year (!) I swear I'm going to order a new kind. I've gotta do that...THIS YEAR!
I'm always torn - sorting them out makes more work, and storage becomes an effort (don't let them mix, otherwise why separate them!?). I consider just jumbling them together, and then planting and harvesting who knows what...it's not like I specifically use this variety or that variety for particular recipes/uses... I just get lured in by the interesting descriptions I guess?
