Garden surprise

Looky looky - I didn't think I was going to get any tromboncino squash this year!

I only had a few seeds, and then a couple days after I'd planted them I met a new coworker who also gardens, and I actually dug up a seed or two to give her to try.  (OR she got a cucumber seed - who knows what I found in the dirt)  Anyhow, there's so many monstrous volunteer gourd and pumpkin vines growing in the garden/landscaping that I figured this monster vine was just part of the gourds growing in the same bed.  Nope!  Tromboncino!  Yay!  Now to wait for the monster-length squash to form...I've trained the vine to climb the trellis better so the squash stretch down under their own weight, as they've done in previous years.
