Butterfly weed seed pods

These butterfly weed seed pods down by the pond MUST be getting close to ripe...

While I figure I'll let most do their thing naturally, the guy I buy eggs from recently mentioned he'd like to find some seeds for his garden, so I told him I'd try to hook him up - it all depends on whether or not I can get these things at just the right point and before they all blow away.  If I remember right, when these pods open, it's going to be like giant dandelion puffs blowing all around...
