I feel like peas I normally get these planted earlier, but I'm glad I waited. Our temps have fluctuated so much this spring that they would have shot up during the early 70F days, then died weeks later when we had highs near freezing and lows in the 20s and even a night or two in the teens...
So I'm getting a late start, but hopefully they'll have a better chance.

I'm always unsure of when to plant. The packet says "as soon as the ground can be worked". Well, for me that MIGHT be early March, but that's NINE weeks before my final frost.
Confusing , to be sure.
