Today's garden picks

Blueberries are winding down.

Beans are just starting to produce... I have more in another bed, different varieties, coming on a little later - so that should stagger harvest for awhile. Can't find anymore seeds locally...

The squash are tiny - but we're doing stir fry tonight, so that's ok. The peas/pods might also get added in...

Raspberries are desperate for water to produce any quantity or size. They got an hour of sprinkler the other day, and are getting more now. There's a chance for rain the next couple of days, but I'm not holding my breath.

It's 90 out there, and picking is hot and sweaty.

Your beans look PERFECT. Oh yum. And the blueberries..........lucky you!! I'm sooooo close to getting a handful. The birds are on alert. Who wins that one? Probably the birds!

That's where the bird netting comes into play. After I had to remove a catbird from the netting twice, I haven't seen it since - AND I'm enjoying all my berries!
