As you can see here, almost all the growies that were outside hardening off and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine got brought in last nite due to a frost forecast. I got them in around 4:30 and it was sleeting at only 40F. By this morning everything was covered with a white sugary-looking glaze! Good thing I brought them in, and was surprised I was able to pack them in so tight!
Just imagine how frustrated I would've been if I lost all my heirloom tomato seedlings, my peppers, all my herbs (especially the basil and rosemary!), and the really expensive (but cheaper than buying at the store) wave petunias!
Due to laziness and being too busy today, the plants are still inside. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get them back out on the patio - doesn't look like we have anymore frost warnings in the forecast.
