Legion of Super Heroes Animated

This one's mostly for Peter!

Wil Wheaton has confirmed for The Continuum that he is providing the voice of Cosmic Boy in Kids' WB!'s upcoming Legion of Super Heroes animated series.

In the series, Cosmic Boy was a founder and the first leader of the Legion who now spends more time as an Earth-bound diplomat. He is not one of the seven core members featured in the cast.
"I'm in a few episodes," Wheaton told The Continuum.

Wheaton, 34, provided the voice of Aqualad in several episodes of Teen Titans.

In other Legion news:

  • Mekt Ranzz, Lightning Lad's brother, will appear in an episode.
  • Director Ben Jones told The Continuum that the series will have "a mix of old Legion villains and new characters."
  • Look for a preview of the series at Comic-Con International in San Diego next month.

My husband loves superhero cartoons.. Just a big kid at heart..

Off Topic::

I need your opinions on what colors to paint my house.. WE have it up for sale and need to make it more warm and staged better.. I am posting my link to my house pics and need your honest opinion.. They should be seen at my photo album to the right of the page.. As for the front of the house photo, the grass has filled in I took that pic awhile a go..

Paint the whole place a creamy white and de-clutter. People don't really want "warm" when they look at a house, they want to be able to imagine themselves living there and how their things will look in the space.

The best advice I ever got from my agent was selling the house empty and ready to move into. I had a 5-way bidding war the first day it was listed and I had a contract the next day.

It already has curb appeal, but make sure you keep it up.

You should probably finish that renovation, whatever it is. (a bathroom I think from the greenboard).

Have you listed the house on Craigslist since you're FSBO-ing it?

Another suggestion is to create a webpage just for the house that isn't on MSN since not everyone who's interested in the house wants to sign up for a .Net Passport.

The renovation is putting a full bathroom in the basement. It is more stubbed in now ..
Here in the ATL there are almost 100K homes for sale.. So we are up against a bunch.. The market is sluggish, not like when we sold our home in Boise and Seattle which were both sold in less than a week.
So what do you suggest with all the kids I have..? That is what I face is "stuff" the kids can't "live without". We have a large storage unit packed to the hilt now. Mostly shoes, collections (I love OLD bowls), movies, cd's, Christmas stuff etc.

We are also re carpeting the main floor. I was going to put in a light wheat color.. Okay? Basement is 3/4 finished.

As for the yard, it is kept up, I now have my own personal lawn mowers now..:) I weed almost daily..

Creamy white eggshell, ecru, linen??

The Craig's list idea is a great one, I didn't even think about it.. So is having it's very own webpage..

Thanks for taking the time to look and giving me your input.

Put the older kids in charge of keeping up after the younger ones and give them an incentive for keeping the place clean.

Wheat carpeting is fine I think or just toss a carpeting allowence into the sale.

I like Craigslist a lot, most of the people are really cool and they're looking, not browsing.

Ecru, linen, whatever, just not stark white.

With the new bathroom, if you can finish it or at least get the plumbing stubbed and the drywall finished and painted it would be fine.

No problem with the opinion, I charge restaurant owners lots of money for the same advice so a freebie now and then is okay :-)

Thanks Steven.. It really helps a lot to have a non bias point of view. I am honored to get a freebie..!! I am sure you are out of my budget.. ;)It is hard now, because everyone around here wants to buy brand new.. Older homes sit a lot longer..

Jeph sorry to hijack your post! My kids all love to watch Teen Titans also along with those crazy Japanese cartoons like Naruto, and Avitar... All of which take up too much space on my DVR.

Welcome to Jeph's blog, where Alison,Peter and Steven chat....

LOL You guys just keep chatting while I work away!! And then pop in for a quick chat while AT work! ;-)

I agree with Peter, based on what my mom (a realtor in Rochester, NY) has said - neutral colors throughout will help sell a home. We, however, have a huge dark cranberry red wall, some of the former owners dark gray walls, some light green walls, oh, and some plain off-white.... Hopefully these don't count against us when we decide to sell later this summer! But trust me, we're not looking to paint again anytime soon! :)

I never would've thought of Craigslist - that's a great idea. I've never used it, but know others who have for furniture and such. I'll pass the tip on to a friend here at work who's looking to FSBO as well...
