"OHMIGOSHWHATIS THAT!?!?!?!?!"
ROFL! Brett was flipping channels yesterday and we saw this majorly crazy episode of a show we've never bothered to watch before - Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
The brown headed block head kid you see to the right is Mac, and he visits Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - where all the wacky imaginary friends people come up with stay...at least that seems to be the basic premise of the show.
And then he meets Goo, the girl with the rainbow colored sleeves in the pic. Goo has an overactive imagination, so she starts making insane numbers of new imaginary friends appear while in the house. That was funny. What was funnier - as in "funny as hell, had me rolling" - is how she talks faster and faster and faster, and whenever she talks there's whacked out carnival music playing in the background (and it gets faster and faster), and she runs around pointing to things going "OHMIGOSHWHATISTHAT!?" and darting off in a new direction. Total hysteria... Seriously - we had to rewind and watch parts on more than one occasion because we were laughing so hard.
And according to tv.com, "the episode was nominated for an Emmy as Best Animated Program Under One Hour " - so I guess that's saying something, right?
I SO wanna be Goo for Halloween! LOL

I'm all about The Venture Brothers Easily the funniest show in the Adult Swim line-up
Ditto on The Venture Brothers - the other Adult Swim stuff I usually just catch kinda haphazardly, but I don't think I've missed a Venture Bros. yet. (I think Dr. Girlfriend is a trip!) I'm also all about Patrick Warburton in any form (he's the voice of Samson.)
Though short-lived, I also love The Oblongs.
Dave
I want to talk like Dr. Orpheus all the time.
And how do you guys think these comments are related to the cartoon that *Brett and I* found funny? You're off topic - please return the discussion to talking all about Goo, and nothing but Goo. Got it? Goo(d).
;-) LOL
Seriously though, I think Dave had us watch an episode of the Venture brothers last year - it was kinda funny, I just didn't need to have yet another thing to watch (and trust me, I'm NOT watching Foster's on a regular basis!! Unh unh. No way!)
Altho we ARE already hooked on EUReKA!
I tried to watch Fosters and I couldn't get into it. Sorry. But then the demographic it's skewed towards would be my grandchildren I think. (if I had any). Now Teletubbies I can watch.
I'm with you - I don't think I could watch Foster's on a regular basis. I have a feeling we lucked into the one that just really did it for us!
