Yes, that's exactly what it looks like. And here's a few more:
Mmm...you know you want 'em!
Hard to resist, aren't they? And they haven't even been baked or frosted yet...
So here's the plan - modified after things didn't go AS planned this evening. I whipped up the "Clone of a Cinnabon" dough as soon as I got home, only I don't have a bread machine and I don't have bread machine yeast, so that seems to have slowed things down a bit. The dough's been real slow to rise. Brett also pointed out we've got it really cold in here with the AC on.
I let the dough rise while we were out house hunting all over Hudson, Stow and Kent and grabbing some Micky Dees for dinner. Got back after 9, rolled the dough, let it rest, smeared with butter, sprinkled with brown sugar and cinnamon, rolled it all up, sliced with dental floss (you DO know this trick, right?), and put 'em in the pan. Forty five minutes later - and they've barely risen - NOT "doubled in size" per the recipe.
Not gonna panic. Grandma Catherine always made cinnamon rolls the nite before and just left them covered on the counter to rise. In the morning, she'd bake 'em off.
I can do this. Right? Sure. As soon as I get up and come down to feed theMaybe I'll even get a picture of them tomorrow before they head off to work and are scarfed down!?!? No promises!
Hm, Blogger SHOWS I've got two more pictures associated with this entry, but they're not showing up here in the WYSIWYG editor. Nuts. Ok, will just go ahead and post and see if they show up. Going back and forth between draft mode hasn't cleared things up...
