Once again, I LOOOOOVED Heroes! The interactions are great, and the new effects for powers we're seeing are loads of fun. You will believe a man can fly. Hell, *I* want to fly! Loved the sonic boom and the landing sequence! And it's great to see that Peter's coming into his powers, maybe realizing what he can do (I don't know that he's QUITE got it yet...).
If I were the cops wife, I think I'd be MORE than a little suspicious, and really pissed once she finds out what's going on. Sure, he's doing it all to be nice, but could she feel like it's a form of mind rape?
And hello - has the cop NEVER read a comic with a psychic? You can't read minds without getting overwhelmed until you get your power under control. Dooooh! ;-)
Even more of the character's coming together - Nikki meeting Hiro's buddy (who's name I forget), Hiro talking to Peter, Peter and the painter finally getting somewhere... Loved it!
When the cops said DL (?) had pulled a Houdini, I kinda wondered if he was going to have a shape shifting or phasing power. From the previews it looks like he's either phasing through solid objects, or becoming part of whatever he touches. A totally wild guess with little to base it on - if he DOES go "into" physical objects (as opposed to phasing through them), can Nikki's alter ego fight him in a mirror? Could be interesting!
Maaaaan - got another full week to wait for more! Can't wait!
Oh, and does anyone here also watch How I Met Your Mother? Another great episode!!! Wish we would've started DVRing The Class - we caught that last week and really enjoyed it. I figure we'll watch tonite's Two and a Half Men tomorrow nite...

I am sticking with my he morphs into whatever power he is around.. Can you imagine if all were together how strong he would be?? Saving the cheerleader would be from her "dad" perhaps?? Is he Sylar?? And Niki's hubby I think can walk through walls and can't be contained.. My thoughts on this.. I did like the special effect of the white crazed eyes on Peter when he finished the painting..

LOL One of the guys at work sent that around recently and I never got around to watching it - so thanks! I THINK there's even a clue in there as to what he's going to be for Halloween? Gary Gygax? Bill Gates? Oz?
I'm not too fond of the white contacts trick (or even if it's done with computers) - wigs me out a bit. I'm a little freakish about eyes getting touched, squished, extracted, etc. If you ever watched Farscape there was an episode where John Crichton's eye was pulled out to put a tracker behind it if I remember correctly? ?? Anyhow - whatever I saw that on - ew!
I've ALSO wondered if Sylar isn't Peter, with ripped abilities from all the others! We know both can fly. He can maybe stop time if he holds people up against a wall and stab the entire length of their body. We know he can read minds (found the little girl). Indestructable - like Claire. Not sure about the freezing thing yet - a side effect of stopping time too long maybe? And since he's in the present, I figure it's Peter from the way far future using Hiro's time travel to come back to the past. So, hey, maybe he stole Nikki's power and Sylar is evil Peter?
I don't think Sylar is Claire's dad - we actually paused it, and then stepped forward slowly (LOVE DVR!) the episode where the cop chased him into the shadows - I think we decided maybe the face shape wasn't right?
Let's see if we're right!

Okay, I haven't seen Monday's episode yet, but I have to agree that Heroes is definitely the best new show of the TV season (of the new shows that I have chosen to watch).
