Freeze!

Just to clarify - that's "FREEZE right where you are - stop growing!" and not "FREEZE your tips (I said tips!) off - 'cause that's what you're going to have happen if you come up any more and we have freezing temps in the forecast after the long warm spell..."

We've got bulbs popping up all over the place - especially with recent temps in the 60s. And then the mercury started dropping this week, and I don't think it got any higher than 34 today (with a windchill of 21!) - we even had mini-blizzard-like conditions pass through for about 45 minutes.

I'm tempted to go back out and poke all my babies back down into the dirt to protect them (yes, I know this won't work). I think I can even see a hyacinth bud or two out front!!
