Seriously - this one looks like an alien jungle!
Awww, how cute! Not sure if this little guy's going to make it to a full-grown yellow zucchini? He seems to have stalled out in growth...
This flower = a pepper-to-be!
I believe these are the Wayahead tomatoes - a freebie pack of seeds I got. New variety for me - hope they turn out good.
Fennel - another new veggie for me. Well, I've eaten it before, and TRIED growing it last year without any luck. Looks like they're doing well this year!
The zucchini are really starting to come on!
I cheated and bought some bush cucumber seedlings. Cross your fingers for them!
Mmmm....doesn't this look yummy!? (Three pots of super yummy Maxibel fillet green beans on the left, two pots of edamame on the side - first time I've grown the edamame) I have NO IDEA how well beans will perform in a pot - guess we'll find out!
Uh oh - that's looking like we're gonna have a TON of cherry tomatoes!
This here is ONE black cherry tomato plant. One VERY VERY HAPPY black cherry tomato plant. Seems to be liking life and wanting to just spread out. I thought about staking them, but it's so late in the game now I'm liable to break stalks and make a mess out of the plants, so we'll just see what happens. There's a handful of baby tomatoes already forming...
I believe these are the green zebras....SO VERY TASTY! This is the hardest part when you're growing tomatoes. You keep checking on the first green tomatoes of the season, and you wait, and wait, and hope they'll get to full size and start showing hints of ripening. Then after awhile it seems you've only focused on those initial ones. Once they FINALLY ripen, WHAMMO, there's a whole bunch more tomatoes coming up right behind 'em!
More tomato blooms.

Hmmm, I wonder how much of that stuff will be ripe and ready to bring with you if/when you come visit.
I'm just sayin'....
That is all looking so good!!!
i esp. love the Z's and the edemmame...
Don't hold me accountable for any of this stuff! After the last two days of heatwave nearly killing my poor plants, I worry they're really suffering. I come home to completely wilted plants that I have to soak for a good long while to bring them back! Cross your fingers!
