We were eating dinner and watching "School of Rock" (REAAAAAALLY good movie!) this evening when we had this crazy rapid fire little mini storm pop up out of nowhere right around sunset. Everything in the backyard took on this orange glow with the weird lighting. Went out front to see how things looked since those trees across the street often look cool at sunset (on the opposite side of the house), and had a pleasant surprise! (Too much auto clean up on this first picture)
It was actually a double rainbow (more clear in person than in these photos), and the primary rainbow actually seemed to have "bacon strips" of rainbows behind it - I don't know how else to describe it, but there were two (or more?) additional sets of barely visible stripes BEHIND it and down a tad - like shadows of a rainbow in color? Really cool!
It ALMOST touched down to the horizon on the far side as well...

Beautiful rainbows, Jeph! I haven't seen a rainbow in years.
