Happy Halloween!

We had our first big party in the new house last nite. We weren't even sure if we were going to have the Halloween party this year, but folks started telling us they were already working on costumes for it, and so it sort of came together a bit last minute. We're both glad we had the party - it was a lot of fun, and worth all the work that goes into it. We had fun with the decorations, the party, all our friends, the good food (which I forgot to take pictures of), the costume contest, etc. Check out the pictures at the web gallery below...

Jeph, love the outfit. Save it for Christmas (now less than 8 weeks away).

What is with the curmudgeons who didn't dress up? That's lame, seriously.

Some folks don't feel it's worth dressing up - sometimes I get informed weeks in advance that people just don't have it in them to go through the effort (or expense) to do the costume thing. Some folks we just realize won't be in costume ANY year... And some folks, we know, are honestly too busy juggling schedules, work, family life, etc. We're still happy to have 'em all join, but do wish more got into the spirit of the event. Ah well...

You're too nice, really, Jeph. I say, "Get in the spirit, people!"

Funny that I, the Christmas guy, should be so unforgiving and uncharitable.
