Where do farm fresh eggs REALLY come from?

First off, please note that this was NOT originally OUR (the humans) idea... Brett had received a gift basket with jelly, syrup, etc from work. The emptied basket was sitting on the kitchen counter. TUCKER found said basket, and decided it was his. He's in a little denial stage, maybe not realizing that one of his New Year's resolutions should be the D-word... (hint: "diet").

As you can see, the "momma cat" hangs out a little much...

We tried disturbing the "momma cat" to convince him he shouldn't be on the counter. WHY was "momma cat" being so protective of "the nest"?!??!

Nope - honestly no plans to go anywhere...no matter how many times that "nest" was spun around for better photo opportunities...

Wait! What's that?!

OMGosh - so THAT'S where farm fresh eggs come from!?!? How exciting!

"Momma cat" keeps the egg warm, never leaving it, moving it around in the nest to ensure safety...

Ooooor....maybe we just reached under the fat cat and stuffed an egg under there for fun? LOL

(And, yes, the counter was well cleaned after all of this!)
