With friends like these...

We got home late from helping Brett's family with some kitchen rennovations this evening, and I was excited to find a box on the front door step - CHRISTMAS PRESENTS!? Ooh - and it was from Peter and Conrad...so if not "presents", maybe it was a box of baked holiday treats! Even though I was pretty certain Peter hadn't started the major round of baking yet, anything he makes is great!!

I quickly opened up the package and, wow, what did I find?! Holy cats! Yowza! Jackpot! Not one, not two, but SIX tins!!!! OMG I hit the motherload!!!!!


Awwww man, what's this?! Peter must've forgotten to put something in this tin... Oh well - accidents are likely to happen when you're dealing with the holidays. I know Peter's always juggling mountains of Christmas cards and packages to mail out, can't imagine the postage he spends, and figure he must supply every child in every orphanage with a present selected specifically for that child. I mean, really, it's ok that he forgot to put goodies in this tin - there's five more!!

Three? Ok, I'm confused.


Now I'm starting to think this is Peter's equivalent of a lump of coal in the stocking!!


Maybe I'm missing something here...perhaps there's a secret liner in each, and all the baked goodies are hidden - like it's some cool, trendy new way to give baked goods?


ALL SIX!? EMPTY!? Dude, WTF!?


There's gotta at least be some crumbs in one of these - maybe the postal carrier scarfed 'em up and repackaged?!

Oh dude, you are one sick bastard! So, what, you expect me to bake a ton of tasty, delicious stuff, fill these tins, mail 'em back to you, and then let you give 'em out, don't you!?!? That's twisted and lazy!!
