I have bad news kitties - you're not going out this way:
We had a busy weekend planned - Saturday morning at the accountant about 45 min away, Saturday evening to celebrate my bday earlier this week with dinner and chinese food, racquetball Sunday morning with Carolyn, and then birthday dinner with Brett's family (and stuffed cabbage!) about an hour away. So far I've cancelled the accountant meeting (did this Friday in anticipation), and we're accepting the fact we might not be seeing Sharon and Andy this evening. Brett's mom has called to discuss a rain check for Sunday...
Man, he does NOT look happy about not getting to see out the back door!
There's a grill under that pile of snow out there!
All better!
Normally we can see the 1 ft high planks holding in the raised garden beds out there. Not today!
The drifts are going up over the firepit, and up alongside the deck (which is a couple feet off the ground)
We've never had snow get up to the front door before. You can't even see the front steps.
Those pea sticks are sticking up out the top of the 12 inch high raised beds!
View from the upstairs office. The fields across the street really don't look TOO bad, although I'm not sure how deep the snow is that those weeds are sticking out of...

Yikes! That's pretty much the same as us here in Toronto. Shovelling galore. The piles of snow are so high, we can hardly pile anymore on top of them!!
Dude - is you Christmas tree on your front porch... really?
It's ugly here too.
