The birds and the...birds

There was a whole lotta singing going on out in the backyard the other evening. LOUD and HAPPY singing... Looked out the window, and there was a female cardinal on top of the bean teepee, with this guy repeatedly fluttering down on top of her:



When they were done, she took off. Looks like he's waiting for a bit more action! Seriously - get a room!
