Bubba-licious

I'm gonna try something different here - basically I'm flat out stealing Sharon's post since she got pics and videos of us going out for breakfast at Twig's this past Friday (4th of July, in case you couldn't tell from all the patriotism in the video!). Seems I can successfully steal the code from her entry and post it here - yay! So everything you read here is in Sharon's words... BTW - "Twig" is the old lady with the clapper in the 4th of July crazy clothes. She's the one who made us pose for the picture as we were leaving as well.

Before I had posted an entry about the Bubba, a breakfast legend at Twig's. Well, we didn't know it was legendary at the time so I didn't have the camera ready. But Jeph and Brett came over to see our new kitties on Friday morning, so we took them to Twig's and they got the Bubba (after hearing so much about it, who could resist?) Andy got an omelet and I got eggs benedict, both very good as well. They were only serving breakfast because they closed at noon, so we have yet to try their lunch sandwiches.

Here is the fanfare that happens when they bring you the Bubba:

We thought the guy in the background is pretty hilarious. He was very excited about the Bubba both times it was ordered while we were there. Lots of clapping and chair dancing on his part - funny!

So this is what the Bubba looks like:
6 pancakes, four halves of french toast, four halves of toast, four eggs, a biscuit cut in half with sausage gravy, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns. They were lightweights and couldn't finish even with my and Andy's help!

Well apparently if you order the Bubba, you get your picture on the wall there. Andy and I didn't get that when we were there, but leave it to Jeph and Brett to be cute enough to warrant pictures on the wall! So she gets out a Polaroid, and gives her American flag hat to Jeph. Then she goes to get another hat, and comes back with the duck/goose/swan hat. Brett took one look at that and swiped the American flag hat for himself, so Jeph got to be under the fowl. It was a quick but smooth and calculated move on Brett's part.

So now their picture and signatures are on the wall there. Fun!

NOTE: If you let the video play through once and it's kind of jerky, just play it again after it's finished buffering the first time. Seriously -it's worth it to see Twig's fun body language.

Thief! Thief! Stop that man! Okay okay, totally fine you stole my blog. It is rather hilarious and Jeph's laughing in the video makes me laugh!

I did it mostly for the code snippets of video and pic - but decided you wrote it up so well there was no sense in my rewording it all to say the same.
