Quick harvest post

These yard-long beans are really only about 18-inches?


Nope, I'm not flexing for you - NOR am I being very masculine in the holding of these beans... I'll let the next harvesting grow a bit longer and we'll see how they taste- I just couldn't resist picking these. They were great cut into about 2-inch lengths, steamed briefly, and then fried with garlic and oil. MMM!


A pretty pretty boquet?

Glad the "bouquet" went over so well - can you believe we haven't eaten any of them yet?!

I don't recall if I planted all the yard-long bean (aka noodle bean) seeds, but I'll see what I've got... I'm definitely thinking we'll grow these in the future!

I would love to get "flowers" like that. Then I wouldn't have to cry when they died.

I could just eat them.
