Yup! I actually started them last winter when Julie convinced me that I could learn to knit. Only these things are MEGA-sized (I DO intend to wear them around the house OVER other socks - it gets cold here!) I just finished the second sock's heel flap after frogging my first attempt from this past spring. I used a thicker heel-stitch on the completed sock, and want the two heels to match.
I sorta sound like I know what I'm talking about, don't I?

Wait? Are those socks that YOU knitted? If so - congrats!
And, don't worry about the weirdness of the kitchner stitch - it comes out great even though it's basically a pain in the ass.
