Long Live the Legion!

While I was TRYING to give up some of our usual tv show watching with the start of this past fall's season, Brett lured me into sticking with Smallville. What really did it for me was the hint of an appearance by some of my favorite comic book characters this season...

While the Legion of Super-Heroes titles are pretty much TANKING under the current editorial helm of DC Comics these days (as are many other titles, unfortunately), AND there was no real big hoopla for their 50th anniversary in their own title last year, the Legion is sort of stirring up the possibility of making a comeback - with a very popular appearance of an alternate universe's version of the Legion (really a return of the original Legion) in Action comics, a strung-out-way-past-it's-due-dates miniseries spinning off of the Action story, and now we're getting the first ever (?!) live-action appearance of the Legion on tonite's Smallville!


The picture above shows Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, Cosmic Boy, and the writer of tonite's episode, the Action comics storyline, AND the Legion of Three Worlds mini-series that's running so late right now...

Wow, I can't wait til tonite!
