Pepper Roulette

Anyone up for a game?

Here's a hint - if we exclude the obviously hot red chilis/cayennes, MOST of the peppers you see here are sweet or have only the SLIGHTEST hint of heat (way less than a jalapeno).

Another hint - the orange and yellow peppers with the same shape are not actually the same variety at different stages of ripeness.

Go ahead - guess which peppers (and how many) are the kick-your-face-in hot ones!

The little wrinkled up orange and yellow peppers are the ones I'd steer clear of. Look like Scotch Bonnet peppers to me.

I second finnyknits choices.

You're right - some of those ARE related to Scotch Bonnets/habaneros.

So you have the obviously hot red chili peppers at the top of the pic. The rest are ALL mild peppers EXCEPT for those two yellow ones over to the right. Those suckers HUUUUUUURT!!! Definitely steer clear of fatalii peppers if you don't like heat.
