Cuddle buddies

I'm not sure what's up with these two lately - maybe it's the colder weather, or the fact we moved one of the old sofas up to the office, and it's had a comforter on it since Brett slept while sick and extremely congested one night.  Whatever the case, Simon and Moxie have been spending a LOT of time piled up on the comforter, napping away.

They spent a lot of time like this when they were just kittens, but they seemed to have grown apart over the years.  Doogie's been in the house for over a year now, so it can't be a safety-in-numbers or hiding from the dog thing.  Simon's much more comfortable walking around Doogie, and Moxie's ALWAYS kinda stayed hidden, even before Doogie.

And, just like when they were kittens, sometimes Simon's spends the nap time ON Moxie rather than NEXT to her...  While she looks a little pained here, I think it's because I just woke her up.

Turns out Simon was giving her a serious bath, and then left, and when she finally decided to sit up, she had a SERIOUS case of bed-head, or licked-back-to-front head!  She's looking seriously disheveled here...
