Typical day in the office...

We kinda thought we were done with most of this sort of stuff with the start of the school year...but nope!

With the "new roof" project (that's still going on), the guys now have to come through the space just beneath the perimeter of the roof and drill holes up through, and then attach something from roof top to underneath the roof's surface.  Maybe that's to hold it in place so the roof doesn't slide off?  Har har...

Anyhow, while a lot of the construction has been obnoxious, these guys were so nice and polite, gave plenty of advance warning, weren't here all that long, and were very apologetic for any disturbances - all of which made this kind of noise a bit more tolerable.

And before anyone freaks out, yes, I had this guy's permission - I told him I wanted to show what working in the Library has been like this summer...
