There were a couple really nasty looking pears under the tree when I mowed yesterday. This afternoon there were at least two new pears on the ground. One was really chewed into by the bugs, but this one was perfect. I figured there was no way it was going to be good - either rock hard, super mushy inside, or full of bugs.
Turns out it was perfect! So good!
Now to get out there and pick pears and peaches. I figure I'll aim for morning when hopefully there aren't wasps all over them.
