Seems like Picasa 3, which I normally LOVE for quick fixing on my photos, shrinking them down for web friendliness, etc has decided to call off sick. It keeps locking up, slowing down the whole computer while it's running, etc. I've restarted it numerous times, having to kill it the hard way each time, and finally tried re-installing it. Nothing works. So I'm afraid there'll be no new pics posted before late tonite at the earliest - perhaps not til tomorrow. That's unfortunate - I'd love to show off what a great day we had!! Brett made a great breakfast, we went out shopping, had lunch while we were out, and now he's in the process of making birthday cake AND dinner!!! And then there's the additional birthday loot I got!
Ooooh well - I promise I'll get more postings up soon! I just have to remind Picasa who's boss. Or go back to using Photoshop for this stuff.

LOL Funny! Actually, I fired up the Macbook last nite (it's something work got me so I can work from home/be mobile). I'd recently installed Microsoft's Messenger for Mac on there, and tried it out last nite with my parents, who're in Cancun - ONLY to find out that you can't video chat unless you have the corporate version. What's up with that?!?!
That's MSN. If you use iChat, you can video chat through AIM.
Though as a daily IM client (not doing video), I LOVE using Adium. Multi-protocol goodiness.
I normally use Trillian which covers all my IMing needs. Unfortunately, my brother + sister-in-law, plus my folks, all prefer MSN's Messenger for the video stuff, and since I don't have an alternate to suggest, and we use it so rarely, I don't put the extra effort forward to finding an alternate solution. ;-)
I haven't even heard of Adium... I might have to check that out on the Mac, although I'm only ever on that once a week at absolute most. I'm more of a PC boy.
