Attack of the red

Here's a recent post I forgot to complete and put up!

I don't know if you remember I recently had a blooming amaryllis. Well, just as it was finishing up, a second amaryllis under the basement grow lights was showing signs of putting out buds. So I brought it upstairs, and it seemed to do pretty well!


I like the iridescence it seems to have when you forget and leave the flash turned on!


It didn't have just one bloom...


Not just two blooms...


It was even cranking out a third bloom!


I tell ya, this amaryllis was a real work horse!
