...and it's usually the best tasting! No idea how long it's been since I've had a BLT. MMMM so good!
And if you ever watch Barefoot Contessa, you'll know she says you always add in some sort of garnish representing whatever's in the meal so people know what it contains. This usually involves her putting lemon slices or basil leaves on a dish with those as ingredients. In my case, I ate my lunch surrounded by piles and bowls of tomatoes. Brett's comment: "Like people don't know there are tomatoes in a BLT?" (Not to mention it was just me eating the BLT!)
Mmmm...that was good!

I'm torn: on the one hand, Brett's comment is good common sense. On the other hand, it shows no sense of drama, stagecraft, or potry. Blah blah blah. The sandwich looks yummy, regardless!
:-)
I guess when the tomatoes finally ripen it all happens at the same time huh?
Ready to take up canning?
LOL I dunno about canning. I HAVE canned. On more than one occasion. I just don't like it. I think you have to be better equipped - like with something that'll can more than a few jars at a time?
Peter - you think I needed to add more drama to the pictures? Like...? Hm. Spill some tomato sauce (like blood) all over? LOL
Noooooo. The photo is fine. BRett's comment shows that he lacks the drama, stagecraft, and poetry (not "potry") that every good queen should have!
LOL
LOL Ok, just wanted to make sure!
And for what it's worth - I had that big fat Black From Tula tomato in a BLT for lunch today - MMMMM! I'm finding the Black From Tula tomatoes all seem to have a "belly button" effect on the bottom end. Odd.
I've had dinner but boy does that sandwich look GOOD!!
You don't know the half of it Brenda! ;-) MMMM! Do you grow your own tomatoes?
A delayed response to Jeph's question...
I don't grow my own tomatoes. I don't grow anything except my body ;) Yeah, I know, cheesy joke!
