Still LOVIN' Heroes!

Spoilers below - don't read if you haven't seen it yet!

Finally got to watch last nite's Heroes, and man I'm still LOVING the show!!!

  • We've got a new mutant (for want of a better term) - wonder if the radioactive guy will make a return?
  • Claire's pleas to her brother were somewhat moving... (Liked seeing more of her death attempts on the video)
  • Interesting that Peter tried to help out Nathan with the reporter, but still did it for his own gain.
  • Was Nathan's wife Claire Forlani? She seems to pop up all over the place - with those amazing eyes...
  • Minimal special effects this time - sort of a bummer.
  • Interesting crossover between DL/Micah and Hiro/Ando - wonder if they'll cross again, or if that was it?
  • How many helix insignia sitings did you notice this episode? We only caught the one on Nikki/Jessica's shoulder. (Cindy & Dave: jessICA!)
  • And now we have a new mark to watch for? The double stripes/slash mark?
  • Wonder where Isaac ran off to with all of his paintings!?
  • No Mohinder this episode - bummer
  • So more than once tonite folks mentioned these odd things had been happening to them for six months... Any speculations on how much time has passed since the series premier episode? I'm guessing it's been less than six months - we know Claire was trying to kill herself for awhile before the premier, Nikki was having her problems already, etc.
  • Sadly, our DVR stopped recording just as next week's teaser started, so we don't know anything more than there's a new kid.
  • Cool to see Micah DOES have a power - something I'd predicted to Brett early on when Nikki mentioned how good he was with computers and such.

Alison - I'm with you - last nite's WAS a really good one! We got some new teasers, and some continuation of existing plot threads. Not sure why dad thought it was a bit slow...

As always - can't wait til next Monday!! :)

Oh, and here's another thought...just speculation on my part... So we've got the new guy with the radioactive powers, right? Tony? And he said he didn't know what would happen if he was shot - would he blow up? AND we know there's a nuclear explosion in NYC in the near future. ANNNNNND we know the line "Save the cheerleader, Save the future", right?

So. What if something happens to Tony the nuclear man in the future that causes him to go all Hiroshima, and Claire is needed to go take him out or protect him from an attacker or calm him down - and maybe he's irradiating the entire area around him and only she can go near him because her body will keep regenerating. For those of you who saw X-Men III, sort of like Wolverine approaching Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix at the end - sure gonna hurt, but someone's gotta do it.

Like I said - just speculation. But that's what I love about this stuff - the guessing is so much fun! :)

I thought radioactive man was named Sylar??

Peter and Nathan are starting to bug me..

I think the mind readers wife has had an affair..

My hubby speculates that Micah has super electronic powers that combined with a brilliant mind that has osmotic properties to it..

I wonder how involved that girl )neighborly) of the Indian Son is?? What are her purposes?

Is DL a really bad guy or did Niki/Jessica make him out to be?? Or perhaps they feed off of each other...

I loved how Micah said he was just playing around with the "out of order" telephone, knowing he had fixed it and spoke with his "mother".

I still have no clue what "horn rim glasses" dude is all about..

Nope, they decided Sylar wasn't actually the radioactive man. Wrong set of powers too - when we saw Sylar he could fly, was impervious to bullet shots, can read minds, has some sort of telekinetic abilities, and can freeze things?

I'm guessing Mohinder's "pixie-like" neighbor girl is evil!

You're right about the mind-reading cop's wife having an affair!

You're not the first person I've heard imply that Nikki is actually the evil one. Say it isn't so!!!

I also like Micah's work on the phone and then playing it off - fun!
