Boyfriend on New Year's Eve

Plans with the guys for New Year's Eve got a little fouled up this year... We were to meet up with Dave, Jay, Randy and Larry at Heck's Cafe in Ohio City for dinner (mmmm, they've got good burgers), and then hit Club Argos for a quick drink, and then The Grid to bring in the new year. Jay'd called to confirm we didn't need reservations for Heck's - perfect!

What they DIDN'T volunteer to tell him was that it was a $40/person fixed menu. Dammit! So much for the burgers - Brett saw the first thing was lobster bisque! And we weren't paying that much for dinner... So Brett and I waited for the rest to show up and we finally found a place to eat (My Friends Diner, cheap place in Lakewood - eh, was alright), and then the rest of the night went on successfully from there. At least we got to bring in the new year with some of our best friends!
