It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Ooh, now here's the kinda forecast I like to see - check out Tomorrow Night (Sunday night)...

Doesn't get more clear than "blizzard"... Granted, we often get more dramatic forecasts than we actually get as far as the weather, but we'll see how it goes.

Brett and I were out from about 11:30-6pm today, eating FREE LUNCH AT CHICK-FIL-A, finishing up Christmas shopping, getting stuff for baking, etc... The snow didn't start til a little after noon, and didn't really start coming down til closer to 4pm. By 5 the roads, cars, etc were all covered with close to 2 inches. What would usually take us 10-15 min to drive home from the Super WalMart (yes, we shop there) took a little more than 30 minutes, but at least we had some site seeing to do, watching all the cars off in ditches, tow trucks doing their thing, etc...

Wonder what tomorrow will be like. Carolyn and I have already agreed to cancel tomorrow morning's racquetball - she doesn't like driving in the snow, and it'll give me a chance to sleep in get up early and wrap more presents and bake goodies! (Let's be honest - more than likely I'll sleep in some!)

Dad went out to Wegman's where they live (near Rochester) this morning, and said there was a line just to get parking spaces, than even the store chefs had been enlisted to help ring up/bag groceries, that every register was open, and that basically it was total craziness. Granted, they're forecast to get something like 16-24 inches by tomorrow nite - so, uh, yeah...that's a wee bit more than our possible 6 or so inches. (Man, we seriously have to move up closer to the lake!)

Hope you're all staying warm and dry where ever you live!

Free Lunch at Chick-Fil-A? Wow. How did you manage to get so lucky?

;-)

Kind of clear and sunny here this morning. We had quite a wintry night last night, though.
