So in one of the recent NY visit entries I included pictures of Andy's Whizbang Chicken Plucker. Sure, he briefly described finding instructions on how to assemble it, and told us how it worked, but since all the chickens were already slaughtered, cleaned, and ziplocked in bags, we really didn't get a good idea what it looked like when they were getting defeathered. Weeeeell, it turns out YouTube has a SLEW of home videos of the Whizbang Chicken Plucker in action - here's just one of them. Enjoy!
(Vanessa and I checked this out at work today, since she and her husband Paul will be doing the chicken processing thing for the first time in a few weeks. We pretty much laughed our asses off after getting through the initial second or two of shock and disgust. LOL)

That is a mixture of hilarious and disturbing. But it sure does look easy!
I gotta say, I think I'm with Brett on this one: I don't want to see it until it's at least wrapped in cellophane and sitting in the meat case at the grocery store ...
