Happy (belated) Birthday to Sharon!!

So I forgot to actually post a Happy Birthday entry on here last Thursday, Oct 2nd, for Sharon's birthday. Don't worry - I didn't FORGET her birthday - we had her presents and card, and I offered to make a cake for her when they came over on the 4th (the cake was declined), and I TOLD her Happy Birthday on her birthday - I just didn't remember to mention it HERE to get her more attention. Oops - sorry Sharon! :)

Anyhow, here's some pictures that didn't get included in the orchard picking from Saturday... Before we headed out, Sharon and Andy wanted to try Brett's new Inversion Table (a gift from me and his parents for his recent birthday).. Here's Andy, practicing hovering in air. It actually really easy to maintain this angle on the inversion table...

But if the table's set just right for your height, move your arms even a liiiittle bit higher on your body, and you'll start to tip backwards - and then you really start to feel the stretch. It's NIIIICE!

Sharon also got to open her birthday presents. Since she's getting big into cooking/baking these days (such a happy little domesticated wife!), and I remembered her mentioning she needed a cooling rack and pans, I got her the set of Chicago Metallic two 1/2 sheet pans plus a cooling rack sized to fit, AND a Silpat. She'd never heard of/used a Silpat before, but I bet she finds they come in REAL handy!

And then it was Sharon's turn to try the inversion table. She's testing the balancing here I think...

Annnnd - sometimes after you've stretched out on it, changing your center of gravity, OR if you don't have the height set right on it, then it doesn't work PERFECTLY with just moving your arms up and down your body. Not a problem - there are handles, or in this case, Brett offered to help.

Oh, and we didn't eat in the dining room - I have it TRASHED with Halloween party/decorations right now. The table's covered, there are boxes and projects-in-process on the floor, etc. As they were checking out some of the stuff I'm working on, Sharon noticed this random scene - honest, no one set this up, it's just how they landed.

Insert "good bonin'" joke here!
