The calm before the storm...

With a forecast like this...

THE WINTER STORM WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST SUNDAY.

LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AFTER MIDNIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH NOON ON SATURDAY. SNOW AMOUNTS TONIGHT WILL LIKELY BE 3 TO 5 INCHES WITH ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS ON SATURDAY. TOTAL SNOW AMOUNTS OF 6 TO 10 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE.

I thought it'd be fun to take some pictures of what things look like just as we're starting to get the initial flurries from the storm. Check back tomorrow and we'll see how things look outside!

Wow! Super jealous. I just checked Steamboat's conditions (where we're going in a few weeks) and they have a 60" base.

COME ON SNOW.

Enjoy.

We had about 24 hours or so of snow. Pretty impressive. Quite a winter we're getting. And word is the high on Tuesday will be only 4 degrees. Fahrenheit degrees. Brrrr.

Oh wow, skiing sounds so fun. I haven't been in years. And I've never tried snowboard - sounds intimidating!

We got more snow last nite and this morning - not a ton, but Brett had to go snowblow again!

And yeah, I think we're due for a day of real low temps real soon! Brrr indeed!
