Luscious lemons!

Large eggs from Breakneck Acres, with intensely orange yolks and eggshells that are so tough it seems like they're adding a little cement in the chickens feed?


Golden Meyer lemons that've been slowly ripening on the tree in the dining room window for what seem like forever?


And a cookbook recommended by Finny with a recipe that I'm absolutely supposed to try - one that just can't fail me, and will taste amazing?


Guess what's on the agenda for later today?!?!

It turned out really good - your reputation (at least as far as lemon meringue pies go) is untarnished! I have one slice left, and that's dessert tonite.
