Finished this guy the other night. I might just have to make another one in a finer yarn (to scale it down), and include the optional pipe cleaners in the tentacles so it can be posed. I wonder if it would be hard to make the tentacles a little longer too?

cute! longer tents = knit a few extra rows!
here's a secret - just cause a pattern SAYS knit 10 rows doesn't mean you HAVE to; dare and do 20 rows!
(ask me how I know this)
And if the tentacles were just knit in the round that's exactly what I'd do. Instead they're knit flat, with different lengths of short rows, plus wraps and turns, so it's not that simple. Still, I figure I can play with changing the numbers anyhow and see what happens. ;-)
