I lucked out - with the original peach tree taking a major set back from the extra cold winter, I lucked out in getting a second peach tree who was apparently pre-pollinated, AND willing to produce fruit it's first year in the ground...
Sure, it took some hits from the hail storm, and bugs got some of the peaches, but check this out. One fell and got a few bug holes, three came off easily in my hand, and the three biggest and still holding on firm. Here's hoping they're ready to come off in a few days...
