It was a cold and snowy nite...

Dave threw out the proposal to see Blades of Glory this weekend, so we drove up to Valley View to meet him and Jay out for a movie nite...something we haven't done in ages! Randy and Larry saw the movie the night before, and it sounds like it's just getting great reviews, plus it was a good chance to just get out and see some of the guys...

Gee, we weren't thinking about the mini blizzard about to hit the Cleveland area - especially since it's early April in Ohio (that's sarcasm).

Here's Brett and I on the way to Cleveland.

By the time we got this far, I was calling Dave to warn him against taking the same particular route if at all possible because of the treacherous roads... There was a lot of slipping and sliding of cars, people driving with their lights flashing, sliding down steep roads, etc...

But we finally made it to the theater, safe and sound, with no collisions!

For fun, I took a couple pics BEFORE the movie, just so we'd have something to compare to afterwards...just in case it kept snowing (again, more sarcasm).

Here's Jay after the movie...

And Jay hamming it up!

As you can tell from facial expressions, it was blustery!

The backside of Brett's car had about three inches. Too bad I forgot to hit the "save" option after taking the picture of Brett, which also showed more snow. Oh well... We all made it home safely after an evening of lots of laughs (it really IS a fun movie!), followed by wings and other bad-for-us food at Quaker Steak and Lube...

Oh yeah, much better than Old School and Taladaga Nights! I highly recommend it. One of our favorite scenes was with the hot dogs - you just wait and see! ;-)

Never saw Old School but wasn't fond of Taladaga Nights. I loved Kicking & Screaming, though!

Poor Jay - not the most flattering pictures of him. Nice looking guy, blurry, blobby photos.
