Cheating

Remember I said I didn't do much for putting up lights this year? Well, when there's the fun (but never discussed) competition between neighbors with the holiday decorating, and you're up against THIS, why bother trying!?


Seriously - Craig was using his job as an electrician to do it up right. I tried crawling out on the roof last year (which is steeper than most of the others in the neighborhood), and also putting a ladder up to the side of the house, and just decided it wasn't happening this year. Maybe next year we'll be better prepared and actually do the decorating outside before the weather turns cold...it's not like we'd LIGHT the stuff until after Thanksgiving!
